Soundbars were and still are the easiest and most reliable way to improve the sound of TV. They're affordable, don't require much space, they are easy to install, and cope with its task. But they have one important disadvantage — they definitely need an assistant in the form of a subwoofer to reproduce low frequencies fully. And it's impossible to be without them — the sound of a home theater starts with the bass. It creates an immersive effect, highlights tense scenes in films, and adds richness to music.
But adding another device to the system is not only an additional expense, but also the need to make space for it. It means that the main advantage of soundbars, compactness, is lost. Engineers of our company solved this problem by integrating a separate low-frequency radiator with a diameter of 79 mm into the SVEN SB-2065, which is responsible for deep and expressive bass. Paired with oval broadband speakers measuring 90×52 mm, it builds a surround, balanced sound in a wide range from 50 Hz to 20 kHz.
At the same time, the body of the device remains compact (620×68×114 mm), which allows it to be installed on a shelf under TV or mounted on a wall. Everything you need for wall mounting is included. Also it is loud enough: the total power is 100 W, which is more than enough to sound a large living room. Due to the combination of impressive power and balanced sound, the soundbar is equally good for films, sports broadcasts, series and music.
The design of the device is laconic and universal — the case is made in black and easily fits into any interior. Control is carried out using the included remote control, while the soundbar can be switched on/off and the volume can be adjusted from the TV remote control due to the support of HDMI CEC. There is also a compact panel on the case, which makes it easy to control basic functions.
You can use HDMI with support for audio return channel (ARC) to connect to the TV, as well as optical or analog (AUX) input. Sound from mobile devices is easily transmitted via Bluetooth — background music or your favorite podcast starts in a couple of seconds. In addition, the soundbar has a built-in media player that plays music directly from a USB flash drive.
SVEN SB-2065 is a successful combination of elaborate design, expressive bass and a wide range of functions. It is an excellent choice for those who want to take the sound of TV to a qualitatively new level quickly and without any hassle.
